Three Ingredient Chocolate Mug Cake

Ingredients
- 1 banana, mashed
- 1 egg
- 1-2 tbsp cocoa powder
- toppings such as whipped topping, berries, & chocolate chips {optional}
Preparation
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, mash the banana with a fork.
- Add egg to bowl, and mix together.
- Add 1 tbsp of cocoa powder to bowl, and mix together with a spatula. You can add an additional tbsp if you like but I would start with one.
- Microwave bowl for 3 minutes.
- Enjoy immediately! I transferred the mug cake from bowl to small plate but this isn't necessary. You can add toppings such as whipped topping, berries, chocolate chips, or it's delicious on its own 🙂
- You can also omit the cocoa powder to make a simple banana & egg mug cake. I eat this for breakfast almost daily!
